“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” ~Jesus
Welcome to my virtual home. I’m Bill Giovannetti, a husband, dad, pastor, author, professor, and child of God. I’m here to encourage you and to fill your spiritual gas tank with the amazing grace of God. I’m tired of Christianity that wears people out and smashes people down. I don’t want to beat you up; I want to fill you up. That’s how grace works. So stay a while. Unburden Your Self. Below, you’ll find three convictions that guide me. They rescue me from being a gooey splat of guilt and shame on the windshield of faith and life.

Grab a cup of coffee, turn on some music, and rest your heart in the Matchless Grace of God.
For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. (Ephesians 2:8-10, NKJV). And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work. (2 Corinthians 9:8, NKJV). For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich. (2 Corinthians 8:9, NKJV). For it is good that the heart be established by grace. (Hebrews 13:9, NKJV). And if by grace, then it is no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace. But if it is of works, it is no longer grace; otherwise work is no longer work. (Romans 11:6, NKJV). But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and forever. Amen. (2 Peter 3:18, NKJV).
